Description
The program "Equity Investments by Regional Venture Capital Corporate Investment Companies" provides medium-sized companies in Rhineland-Palatinate with venture capital for innovative and employment-intensive projects. Regional investment companies in Rheinhessen, Rhein-Neckar, Südpfalz, Vorderpfalz, Westpfalz, Mittelrhein, and the Trier region thereby support start-ups as well as small and medium-sized enterprises from manufacturing, crafts, and services. By providing typical silent or open equity participations, the competitiveness of the companies is sustainably strengthened and future-proof permanent jobs are secured. Applications can be submitted continuously through the Investment and Structural Bank Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB).
A prerequisite for profit participation is a business location within the spatial catchment area of the respective venture capital company as well as the provision of equity or equity-like funds in the same amount (capital parity). The equity capital can vary depending on the project and is based on the individual financing needs. The aim is to support both founders and established companies equally during growth and innovation phases. A combination with other public funding aids is possible in order to realize tailored financing concepts. Interested companies can obtain further information and support with application preparation directly from the ISB in Mainz.
