Description

The Karg Foundation supports public and educational institutions nationwide with the Karg Campus program, aiming to systematically anchor gifted education in daycare centers, schools, and counseling centers. The focus is on the qualification of educational and psychological professionals as well as the support of leadership teams. Three interlocking components form the core: tailored training, continuous process support, and the development of sustainable networks. Based on an interdisciplinary curriculum, specialist content from giftedness and talent research, diagnostics, didactic design, and counseling processes is conveyed and directly tested in everyday work. Through the close integration of theory and practice, participating institutions further develop their organizational structures, strengthen the professionalism and reflective capacity of their staff, and create regional centers of expertise for gifted education.

Eligible to participate are young and experienced professionals working in daycare, schools, or counseling, leadership teams, as well as sponsoring organizations interested in systemic gifted education and willing to engage in cooperation with ministries of education or sponsors. Applications can be submitted at any time—the program operates with ongoing funding opportunities and is financed as a grant. The goal is to sustainably anchor professional knowledge, establish inter-institutional networks, and build a comprehensive infrastructure for talent-appropriate educational offerings. Karg Campus thus contributes to educational equity by opening up individual support perspectives to all children and young people, regardless of their background or social status.
