Description
The Karg Impulse Circles of the Karg Foundation offer a nationwide, continuously accessible funding opportunity in the form of a grant for educational institutions and public organizations. This practice-oriented training tool is aimed at educational professionals in daycare centers and teachers in schools who wish to expand their foundational knowledge of giftedness promotion and high ability. Under the expert guidance of certified moderators, groups of eight participants each go through a clearly defined process in interactive three-hour workshops, including provided materials. Registration is possible at any time, allowing for quick integration into existing training plans.
At the core of the Impulse Circles are two modules for daycare centers (“Recognize” and “Promote”) as well as two for schools (“Recognize” and “Promote”). The “Recognize” module conveys concepts of early childhood and educational diagnostics to identify indicators of high cognitive abilities. The “Promote” module focuses on developing individual learning opportunities and quality criteria conducive to giftedness promotion within educational organizations. Case studies encourage critical reflection on one’s own practice and open up new perspectives for action. The goal is the early identification of giftedness and the subsequent individual support to optimally develop the potential of all children and adolescents.
