Karg Model Projects

The Karg Foundation’s Cooperation and Practice Development Program supports innovative pilot projects nationwide in daycare centers, schools, and counseling centers with the aim of systematically identifying, further developing, and disseminating exemplary approaches in gifted education for replication. The focus is on projects that go beyond the ordinary and open up new perspectives through their model character. Funding is provided to educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that test sustainable concepts and demonstrate their impact through rigorous evaluation. Designed as a grant, the program continuously provides funds to cover project-related expenses, thereby ensuring ongoing support from experts in the fields of education, research, and counseling. Selection is based on clearly defined criteria such as innovation, sustainability, and evaluation strategy to guarantee the long-term consolidation of successful practices.

Interested professionals and institutions from daycare, schools, and extracurricular counseling services have the opportunity to adapt proven support concepts, develop new approaches to gifted education, and jointly establish results-oriented structures with cooperation partners. The funding objectives focus on strengthening the networking between science and practice as well as on disseminating best-practice examples that are effective in various contexts. By supporting model projects, the program makes a sustainable contribution to quality enhancement and inclusion in gifted education.
