Child and Family Support of the MUT Foundation

The Children and Family Support of the MUT Foundation is aimed at non-profit organizations in Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein that advocate for disadvantaged women, children, adolescents, and families. Within the framework of ongoing sponsorship grants, hospices and care facilities from Hanover and Husum can also receive funding. Applications are accepted year-round, allowing for both targeted assistance in acute emergencies and planned project support. The foundation places particular emphasis on ensuring that all funds have a direct local impact and do not get lost in administrative costs. For example, initiatives such as the Löwenherz Children's Hospice in Syke, the “Löwenzahn” Center for Grieving Children and Adolescents, or local child protection services are supported, which improve chances of recovery, enhance quality of life, and guarantee professional accompaniment.

Funded institutions benefit from a transparent grant structure that allows flexible project adjustments—whether for grief counseling, preventive work, or equipping short-term care facilities. Furthermore, the MUT Foundation supports organizations such as “Kleine Herzen Hannover” and international aid projects to build sustainable structures in the long term. Through this broad funding strategy, both the immediate needs of families are addressed and sustainable commitment in the fields of health, child protection, and family support is strengthened.
