Ntoma Children's Home / Orphanage Support

The orphanage funding for the Ntoma children's home sustainably supports the care and provision for infants and toddlers up to approximately 2.5 years old in Ntoma (Tanzania). As a central aid project of the Hilfe für Ntoma Foundation, the grant serves to finance care and personnel expenses, the provision of food, as well as the maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. Against the backdrop of high maternal mortality and numerous AIDS orphans, the funding ensures loving and professionally supervised child care at Lake Victoria. The home takes in abandoned newborns, provides them with homemade milk formula, and enables largely self-sufficient basic provision through agricultural cultivation projects.

Eligible for funding are private individuals, companies, and non-profit organizations from all over Germany who wish to make a concrete contribution to the preservation of the children's home through an open-ended grant. Allocated funds flow specifically into the areas of care and personnel expenses, food and basic provision, building maintenance, and agricultural projects. The continuous donation option opens up long-term commitment for the 30 children cared for and simultaneously promotes sustainable structures on site.
