Description
The small funding program “Action Healthy Environment – Our Future in the State of Brandenburg” supports volunteer-led environmental education initiatives in the non-formal education sector and promotes projects that raise environmental awareness as well as convey knowledge on climate protection, resource conservation, and sustainable nutrition. Eligible applicants can be natural persons and legal entities under private law as well as daycare centers located in the State of Brandenburg. A one-time grant of up to €3,000 (for daycare centers a maximum of €1,750 upon written approval of the applicant) finances concepts aimed at long-term use and close cooperation with local partners.
A prerequisite for funding is the submission of a well-founded environmental education concept, a continuation and utilization plan, as well as proof of all necessary permits and forms of cooperation. Already completed or annually identical measures, purchases of large equipment or furniture, wages and fees, room and administrative costs, as well as printing costs for periodically published materials are not considered. Applications can be submitted at any time – the next deadline is expected to be at the end of February/beginning of March 2026, with decisions made approximately ten days thereafter. Submissions must be made in writing via agrathaer GmbH in Müncheberg; to meet the deadline, prior submission by email is possible.
