Description
The small projects funding within the framework of local and regional development in Carinthia (KPF) supports self-contained initiatives with a project volume of EUR 1,000 to 20,000 that make a tangible contribution to the sustainable development of villages, towns, and rural regions. Exemplary measures in the areas of village and urban renewal, ecological design of public spaces, revitalization of valuable building stock, as well as socio-cultural initiatives in the fields of youth, education, health, and social cohesion are funded. The regular funding rate is 50%; for particularly outstanding projects, it can increase up to 75%. Applications are accepted continuously as long as budget funds are available – a quick and unbureaucratic process is prioritized.
Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public institutions, as well as committed private individuals and associations. A maximum of two projects per calendar year is possible per applicant; double or parallel funding must be excluded. A prerequisite for submitting an application is the submission of a fully completed form before the project start, accompanied by cost estimates, if applicable planning documents, and a brief statement from the responsible local municipality. Investment and material costs are funded; personnel costs, competitive projects, or non-cash own contributions are excluded. Original invoices and payment receipts must be submitted for accounting. The grant is provided as a non-repayable subsidy and is paid out after positive review of the final documents.
