Description
The funding program KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN offers Viennese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) a subsidy of up to 80% of consulting costs (maximum €400) for individual status and potential analyses of their existing websites or webshops in the areas of e-commerce, online marketing, and social media. A forward-looking checklist, expanded to include sustainability-relevant criteria, is jointly evaluated with certified experts. The analysis identifies strengths, weaknesses, and untapped ecological potentials and derives clear recommendations for action to increase efficiency and save resources. For each selected toolbox (PA1–PA3 and GPA1–GPA3), the SME consultant conducts a structured current state assessment, defines opportunities and risks, and outlines concrete next steps for digital and green transformation together with the company.
Interested companies with headquarters or a business location in Vienna must qualify as SMEs according to the EU definition and conclude a consulting contract with an approved consultant. Applications can be submitted continuously until the budget is exhausted via the aws funding manager. After completion of the consulting, the invoice, proof of payment, and structured consulting report must be submitted. The project duration is generally one month. By combining digitalization and sustainability approaches, KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN supports companies in strengthening their market competitiveness, systematically planning and implementing ecological transformations, as well as reducing costs and increasing company value in the long term.
