Description

The funding program KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN offers Vienna’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) a highly attractive consulting initiative to analyze their IT and cybersecurity standards. With a subsidy covering 80% of the consulting costs (up to EUR 400 excluding VAT), certified experts can jointly identify digital security gaps and develop preventive measures with the companies through a compact status and potential check. The half-day analysis is conducted using a checklist provided by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) and raises awareness of digital resilience and resource conservation. Applicants must be SMEs according to the EU definition, based in Vienna, and comply with the De minimis aid regulations.

Applications for Tool GPA3: Resilience through IT and Cybersecurity can be submitted continuously from May 21, 2024, as long as budget funds are available. Funding applications must be submitted digitally via the aws funding manager, with required documents – consulting report, invoice, and proof of payment – to be uploaded within two months of the reservation confirmation. The funding supports the targeted establishment of prevention strategies against cyber threats and the optimization of energy and resource consumption. SMEs thus benefit from an effective measure to strengthen their competitiveness while simultaneously contributing to the sustainable transformation of Vienna’s economic location.
