Description
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Vienna receive a 50% grant (max. €1,000 excl. VAT) under the funding initiative KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN for strategic consulting in the area of “Resilience through IT and Cybersecurity.” This consulting service (Tool GSB3) supports companies over a period of two months in identifying existing security gaps, evaluating data protection measures, and developing concrete recommendations for action. The goal is to sustainably strengthen digital resilience to fend off cyberattacks, prevent data loss, and avoid additional energy and resource consumption, for example through recovery measures. The consulting is provided exclusively by certified IT and cybersecurity experts and considers both technical and organizational aspects.
Eligible for funding are SMEs as defined by the EU with headquarters or a branch in Vienna. Applications can be submitted continuously from May 21, 2024, until the budget is exhausted via the aws funding manager. Required documents include proof of payment, consulting report, invoice from the consultants, feedback questionnaire, and proof of SME status. Evaluation is based on the degree of innovation, relevance to IT and cybersecurity, and contribution to resource conservation. Timely submission of an application ensures access to funding and promotes sustainable, energy-efficient business development.
