Description
The KMU.DIGITAL 4.0 & GREEN – Implementation Funding program supports Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the implementation of capitalizable new investments as well as accompanying external services with a flat-rate grant of 30% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of €6,000 per funding line. The focus is on four digital and four “green” transformation tools: from sustainable optimization of business models and processes (Tool GU1) through efficiency increases via e-commerce and social media (Tool GU2) to IT and cybersecurity measures (Tool GU3) or resource optimization through digital administration (Tool GU4). Funded are capitalizable tangible and intangible investments as well as (cloud) software licenses and services from external providers, provided these are realized at an Austrian business location and are based on a previously funded consultation within the KMU.DIGITAL framework. Projects must have a minimum volume of €2,000 and may not exceed €30,000 (excl. VAT), with a duration of up to 12 months.
Applications can be submitted online via the aws funding manager from 21.05.2024 until the budget is exhausted. Eligible are EU SMEs with headquarters or a business location in Austria that can provide a completion confirmation of a KMU.DIGITAL consultation. Selection criteria include the contribution to digital and ecological sustainable transformation, the level of innovation, and the linking of the twin transition. Upon project completion, project descriptions, detailed cost breakdowns, and proof of payment must be submitted. This targeted implementation funding aims to strengthen SMEs’ competitiveness, stimulate growth, and advance the sustainable digitalization of Vienna’s economic location.
