Description

The co-financing of the INTERREG Danube Transnational program strengthens the participation of Upper Austrian project partners from municipal administrations, non-profit organizations, and companies in the transnational EU funding program. Project activities are supported in the thematic areas of regional development, development cooperation, as well as agriculture and rural development. The aim is to secure national co-financing through a state subsidy of 20%, which enables a smooth entry into cooperation along the Danube region. With a budgeted volume of €0.05 million, the program contributes to the sustainable networking and further development of innovative approaches for a greener, more competitive, and socially inclusive Danube region.

Applications can be submitted informally and continuously from January 1, 2025. A prerequisite is the informal submission of the application prior to the official submission of the EU funding application in the INTERREG Danube Transnational program. Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant; payments are made after successful accounting verification. Only a completed funding application containing all relevant information on project objectives, partnership, and budget shares must be submitted. On-site inspections may take place alongside reporting. Through the uncomplicated application process and continuous submission possibility, the co-financing offers an attractive entry opportunity for all Upper Austrian actors wishing to realize their transnational project ideas within the EU framework.
