Municipal Funding and EFF Project Management

The city of Cuxhaven offers comprehensive support for municipal project management and financing within the Cuxhaven district, specifically targeting limited budget resources in cities, collective municipalities, and communities. In close cooperation with the Economic Development Agency, municipalities are advised on the planning, application, and implementation of infrastructural and urban development projects, regional development initiatives, as well as in the fields of agriculture and rural development. Thanks to continuous funding opportunities, measures can be realized both through direct grants and low-interest loans. The program covers all phases from initial funding consultation through application submission to project management, thereby creating optimal conditions to advance local initiatives in a targeted manner.

All public institutions in the Cuxhaven district interested in implementing municipal infrastructure, urban development, and regional funding projects are eligible for this support. A prerequisite for funding is affiliation with a municipality in the Cuxhaven district. Funding is provided as either a grant or a subsidized loan; the funding categories include consultation, infrastructure, urban development & urban renewal, business financing, and rural development. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible project planning. In this way, municipalities gain access to expert knowledge and financial assistance to efficiently realize sustainable urban development and modernization projects and to sustainably enhance regional quality of life.
