Description
The initiative “Coordination Offices for Education until 18” provides nationwide funding to sponsoring organizations in the form of grants and is aimed at associations as well as companies that establish a comprehensive support network for youth subject to compulsory education and their legal guardians. The goal is to oversee the existing system and optimally inform all involved target groups, as well as to network the offerings of various institutions across systems. Through administrative case management in accordance with the compulsory education reporting system, young people are supported in career orientation, the search for training positions, and further support measures. Thus, the funding makes a significant contribution to avoiding extended periods without training and dropouts, and to securing the quality of the entire education system.
Implementing bodies are sponsoring organizations with relevant experience in the specific challenges of the target group and demonstrate a high level of gender and diversity competence. The qualified staff, in addition to case management, undertake regional process facilitation, data preparation, and project evaluations, and organize subject-specific workshops and lectures. Analytical reports contribute to continuous monitoring and support quality assurance. Applications can be submitted at any time, enabling the initiative to respond flexibly to regional needs and sustainably contribute to reducing early training dropouts.
