Description

The House of Democracy and Human Rights Foundation offers non-profit associations, interest groups, and civil society initiatives in Berlin a unique opportunity to realize exhibitions free of charge at the House of Democracy. In fully equipped premises – ranging from spacious halls to flexible seminar areas – projects on democracy, human rights, culture of remembrance, and social cohesion are implemented with ease. Technical equipment such as projectors, microphone systems, and presentation walls are available without additional rental costs. A one hundred percent funding rate guarantees that no expenses for room rental or equipment are incurred, allowing all resources to be directed entirely toward the substantive work.

Interested applicants must demonstrate a proven non-profit or public-benefit activity and submit an exhibition concept within the thematic framework of democracy and human rights. The foundation continuously reviews applications, enabling initiatives to plan flexibly without a fixed deadline. The goal is to create spaces for diverse perspectives on societal challenges and to strengthen public discourse. Through free allocation, new meeting places emerge where historical memory, political education, and cultural creativity go hand in hand. Applications are accepted at any time – an engagement that has a lasting impact and makes visible how art and information advance democracy.
