Cost-Reduced Legal Advice

In Vorarlberg, a specialized legal advisory service has been developed that enables women to receive professional information on family, marriage, partnership, and divorce matters. Qualified lawyers are available for a one-time 45-minute consultation, the costs of which are almost entirely covered by a consultation voucher from the Women's and Equality Department. Through this subsidy from the areas of Consultation, Women’s Advancement, and Work & Social Affairs, the funding makes an important contribution to strengthening legal competence and equal opportunities. The individual co-payment amounts to only 20 euros, making expert legal advice accessible even with limited financial resources.

Eligible applicants are those residing in Vorarlberg who have not yet redeemed a consultation voucher in the current calendar year. The voucher must be applied for at the responsible state office before the consultation appointment and brought to the session. Only the costs for the legal consultation are eligible for funding; other expenses are excluded. Applications can be submitted continuously from June 1, 2025, with no fixed end date. The only required application document is the completed consultation voucher. Due to the uncomplicated process and continuously open funding deadlines, the program specifically targets women seeking professional advice and wishing to quickly obtain legal clarity in personal matters.
