Coverage of rent and ancillary rental costs, School Sports Week Service Center

The funding measure in Vienna enables public institutions to cover the rent and ancillary rental costs for the School Sports Week service center. In the thematic area of “Sport, Culture & Media,” the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport (Section II – Sport) supports sustainable sports programs by covering the financial expenses for premises, infrastructure, and necessary ancillary costs.

Applications can be submitted continuously; there is no deadline for submissions. A prerequisite for the funding is the verifiable operation of the School Sports Week service center in Vienna. Only expenses for rent and ancillary rental costs are funded, providing operators with planning security for the implementation of the annual School Sports Week. Public institutions submit their applications directly to the responsible processing office of the Federal Ministry, thereby contributing to the long-term promotion of physical activity and health in the school environment.
