Description
The Mehlhorn Foundation, in cooperation with kopaed Verlag Munich, supports outstanding publication projects related to creativity and creativity education within the framework of the KREAplus book series. Nationwide, private individuals, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations can submit applications for a printing cost subsidy to realize scientific, discursive, and practice-oriented writings on creativity and its diverse related fields. Funding is provided as a grant toward printing costs and is awarded based on the recommendation of the scientific advisory board. An informal application is sufficient to bring one’s manuscript into the shortlist and to benefit from the expertise of renowned editors and the established layout concept.
Targeted are scientists, authors, editors, as well as research institutions and other individuals and organizations interested in publishing. For the application, the complete publication manuscript (PDF) and a project concept or existing expert reviews must be submitted digitally. The scientific advisory board of the Mehlhorn Foundation continuously decides on inclusion in the series and the amount of the subsidy. Applications can be submitted at any time, supporting flexible project planning and short-term implementation. Only printing costs are eligible for funding; the grant enables innovative research and practical contributions to be effectively made accessible in book form, thereby sustainably enriching the scientific and educational discourse on creativity.
