Description
The investment support for cultural institutions in the federal state of Salzburg offers nonprofit organizations, public institutions, interest groups, and associations an ongoing grant for urgently needed infrastructure measures. The aim is to secure the continued existence of cultural centers, museums, theaters, and similar institutions, to meet technical requirements, and to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Funding is provided for event technology, IT equipment, renovations of sanitary facilities, fire protection measures, and other urgent investments. Applications can be submitted at any time before the start of the measure; however, for a requested funding amount of €50,000 or more, the application must be submitted by the end of May of the previous year at the latest.
Eligible are cultural centers and institutions based in the city and state of Salzburg that have an existing medium-term funding agreement with the state of Salzburg and plan investments in technology or construction measures. Requirements include a fully completed funding application with project description, justification, detailed calculation, and cost estimates, as well as proof of the medium-term funding agreement. Submissions are accepted exclusively before the implementation of the project. Eligible expenses include, among others, event technology and equipment, IT hardware and software, sanitary and fire protection renovations, as well as other non-deferrable investments. For the application submission, in addition to the application form, proof of use and all cost evidence are required. The funding helps to strengthen the cultural offerings in Salzburg in the long term and to adapt the institutions to current technical and legal requirements.
