Description
The state program Arbeit 2021–2027 of the state of Schleswig-Holstein is aimed at companies, private individuals, municipalities, and public institutions that wish to implement labor market and educational initiatives. With a flexible grant format, the program supports projects in the key areas of employment, vocational training and further education, as well as social affairs. The predictable and continuous funding structure enables sustainable planning: applications can be submitted continuously until December 31, 2027. The objective of the measure is to strengthen the labor market in northern Germany, stimulate employment, and advance qualification in the true North. As a co-financing instrument of the European Social Fund (ESF), the funding tool, together with the Investment Bank of Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH), implements innovative projects that contribute to the development of modern working environments and future-oriented training models.
Projects are funded whose sponsors can prove their registered office or residence in Schleswig-Holstein and that are located in the fields of labor market as well as vocational training and further education. Support is provided in the form of grants, the amount and scope of which are determined on a project-specific basis. Thus, the measure addresses small and medium-sized enterprises as well as municipal institutions and committed private individuals who want to create added value for the region through qualification offers, integration projects, or labor market-related innovation initiatives. The Investment Bank of Schleswig-Holstein acts as the central funding institution and pools state, federal, and EU funds to promote sustainable growth, social participation, and professional development in the state.
