The state program Arbeit – B2/a continuously supports coaching measures for career preparation and training supervision at vocational schools as well as regional vocational training centers in Schleswig-Holstein. Public institutions can apply for a grant to optimally prepare young people for the transition into training and employment through individually tailored coaching. The goal is to strengthen the professional and personal competencies of students and participants at regional vocational training centers in order to prevent training dropouts and sustainably support entry into the labor market.
Coaching offers that address the specific needs of the target group and are conducted in close coordination with teachers, trainers, and career guidance specialists are funded. The measure helps to reduce barriers, develop career perspectives, and unlock individual potential.
