Description
With the "Agricultural Technology Measures," a nationwide funding initiative is being launched that offers non-profit organizations and public institutions in the field of agricultural technology the opportunity to sustainably increase their resource efficiency and environmental impact. The goal is to deepen knowledge in the use of modern machinery through professional information, coordination, and networking efforts, reduce mechanization effort, and strengthen farming cooperations. Furthermore, the measure supports the publication and dissemination of know-how regarding the material and energetic use of renewable raw materials (biomass) and promotes demonstration events as well as workshops to broadly anchor innovations in practice.
Eligible for funding are non-profit legal entities and associations of persons with nationwide coordinating activities or supraregional membership structures. The grant rate amounts to up to 80% of eligible expenses, including personnel costs, material costs, travel expenses, office and communication expenses, event costs, and publication costs. Non-eligible are taxes, financing and insurance costs, representation expenses, as well as items that cannot be clearly assigned. Funding applications can be submitted annually by October 31 of the previous year (for 2024 by December 31, 2023); the approval period extends from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2029. Required documents include the completed funding application, a declaration of commitment, demand registration, as well as balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and an annual work program.
