Agricultural Advisory Support

The Agricultural Advisory Funding in Saxony-Anhalt supports agricultural and forestry enterprises as well as private forest owners through grants for external advisory services. The aim is to promote ecologically sustainable production methods, optimize farm management, and foster forward-looking development of rural areas. This measure involves qualified experts who, in close coordination, develop individual concepts to advance resource-conserving agriculture and forestry. The funding is provided continuously and offers entrepreneurs and private individuals the opportunity to professionally implement expert impulses to strengthen their own operations in the long term and create regional added value.

Advisory services are funded provided that the business location or forest ownership is in Saxony-Anhalt and a concrete advisory need is demonstrated. Eligible applicants include all agricultural and forestry enterprises as well as private owners of forest areas. The sustainability relevance of the requested advisory service and the qualification of the consulting professionals play a central role in the selection process. Eligible expenses exclusively cover external advisory services; a detailed advisory concept and a cost estimate from the consulting firm must be submitted as application documents. Approval is granted by the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of the State of Saxony-Anhalt; implementation is significantly supported by the Office for Agriculture, Land Consolidation and Forestry Anhalt, which, as the central administrative authority with expertise in agricultural and forestry matters, provides comprehensive support.
