Agricultural Support - Improvement of the Agricultural and Forestry Road Network

The City of Villach supports agricultural enterprises as well as agricultural and forestry cooperatives, associations, machinery communities, and interest groups with their registered office in Villach in the maintenance, repair, and expansion of the agricultural and forestry road network. Funding covers 50% of the total construction costs, but no more than 2,700 euros per measure. Applications can be submitted continuously but must be made before the start of the work. Funding requirements include having the registered office in Villach, proof of official permits, and submission of original receipts and – for payments exceeding 1,000 euros – a corresponding declaration. Accounting must be completed by October 31 of the financial year and is necessary to maintain the commitment and to document the appropriate use of funds.

With this funding, the City of Villach contributes to the operational functionality of agricultural and forestry enterprises and supports the objectives of Austrian agricultural policy in rural areas. The measure ensures the sustainable management of fields and forests, improves the delivery of harvested goods, and prevents damage caused by erosion or extreme weather events. Upon approval, payment is made in the form of a cash subsidy; partial or advance payments are possible depending on the project scope.
