Life in Trebendorf

The "Leben in Trebendorf" Foundation was established following the Trebendorf Agreement and operates as an independent, non-profit entity dedicated to revitalizing community life in the municipality of Trebendorf. Its focus lies on homeland preservation and strengthening the sense of local identity, as well as youth and elderly care, sports, and arts and culture. Through ongoing grants, projects and initiatives are supported that contribute to enhancing communal cohesion and enriching the local cultural offerings. Funded activities may include, for example, cultural events, sporting competitions, or intergenerational meeting opportunities that sustainably promote social solidarity in Trebendorf.

Only non-profit organizations based in the municipality of Trebendorf that are active in the aforementioned fields are eligible for funding. An informal application can be submitted by interested parties to the foundation at any time, as there are no fixed deadlines. A brief project outline including objectives, timeframe, and budget is sufficient for the application. The decision on granting funding is made by the foundation’s board based on the municipality’s funding policy guidelines.
