Description

The performance scholarship of the Landheim Schondorf am Ammersee Foundation supports particularly committed and highly gifted students in Bavaria by reducing the annual school and boarding fees by €8,000. Applicants with outstanding academic or extracurricular achievements, exemplary social behavior, and strong engagement in the school community are supported. Selection is based on grades, social commitment, active participation in boarding school life, and the financial situation of the legal guardians. A prerequisite for a successful application is the submission of complete documents by May 15 for the following school year, including the completed application form, curriculum vitae, motivation letter, reference letter from a subject teacher, transcripts from the last two school years, and the consent form of the legal guardians.

Admission to the scholarship program offers recipients not only financial relief but also the opportunity to develop both academically and personally. Scholars actively contribute to the vibrant boarding school community by organizing school events and taking on project responsibilities. The decision on the award is made by the foundation’s management upon recommendation of the scholarship committee; cash payments are excluded. The scholarship is usually renewed annually, provided the required achievements are continuously met.
