Measures of the State of Burgenland to Strengthen the Economic Development of Enterprises

The state program offers targeted grants to strengthen the economic development of businesses in Burgenland. In view of the limited risk appetite of certain financial markets, companies are supported in their capital procurement and growth planning. With a focus on job retention and maintaining the location, the initiative makes an important contribution to the stability and further development of the regional economy. Applications have been accepted continuously without a deadline since December 24, 2020. The funding aims to facilitate access to financial resources and, in the interest of the state, to encourage investments in research, innovation, and sustainable business models.

Eligible for funding are natural and legal persons as well as registered partnerships (OG, KG) whose place of business is located in Burgenland. The support extends to classic business financing, consulting services, as well as regional development projects and agricultural undertakings. Special priority is given to measures that contribute to securing existing jobs or creating new employment opportunities in rural areas. Applications are submitted through Wirtschaftsagentur Burgenland GmbH, which acts as the central contact point coordinating all funding modalities and ensuring expert support throughout the entire funding process.
