Description
The funding instrument "Measures for Knowledge and Technology Transfer" supports small and medium-sized enterprises, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations in Saxony-Anhalt in transferring scientific findings into marketable products, processes, and business models. Innovation consulting services, technology-supporting services, as well as external expertise are funded with a grant of up to 70% of eligible expenses (maximum €140,000). Through targeted support – from market analysis and patent searches to the implementation of new technologies – the relationship between research and practice is sustainably strengthened and regional value creation expanded.
Funded projects can run for a period of up to 36 months. Eligible costs include personnel costs for consultants, material costs, travel and accommodation expenses, as well as project-related external services. A prerequisite for a successful application is the submission of a detailed project and milestone plan to the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt prior to project commencement. The evaluation particularly considers the professional suitability of the consultant, the quality and innovativeness of the concept, practical relevance, and economic exploitability.
