Material Ropeways and Ropeway Technology

The program "Material Cableways and Cableway Technology" supports companies in Vorarlberg in the construction, technical supervision, and regular inspections of agricultural material cableways. The goal is to optimally equip active agricultural and forestry enterprises with proven transportation needs through grants and to ensure operational safety in the long term. The state funding amounting to €0.2 million provides financial relief and continuously supports the application process, as applications can be submitted at any time. The processing is carried out by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Areas within the Office of the Vorarlberg State Government, where technical expertise and timely settlements ensure high efficiency.

Funding is provided to agricultural and forestry enterprises in which at least one agricultural operation is involved and that demonstrate a concrete transportation need. For conversions and renovations, the funding regulations require maintaining a verification logbook as well as an operational diary. The funding falls under direct grants within the framework of agricultural and forestry development measures and is based on the provisions of the Goods and Cableway Act (GSG) as well as the Rural Development Promotion Act (LFFG).
