Description
mathe4job.de provides a digital platform that supports young people nationwide in their career orientation. Over 70 training and master craftsman professions are linked with job-specific profiles, combined with free mathematics tests based on school years 5 to 10. After completing the tests, participants receive a detailed evaluation of their mathematical strengths and weaknesses. This allows individual support needs to be identified and addressed in a targeted manner. The offer is equally aimed at pupils, trainees, as well as those interested in master craftsman courses and is accessible at any time without an application deadline and free of charge.
The initiative by the Stiftung Rechnen combines aspects of education, vocational and further training, as well as research and innovation. Through non-material support in the form of advice and training, a sustainable contribution to competence development is made. Educational institutions can also integrate the digital tool into everyday teaching and counseling to strengthen the mathematical competence of their learners. The continuously usable platform enables independent preparation for entrance exams and training requirements, thereby promoting equal opportunities in choosing the appropriate career path.
