STEM Promotion by the RÜTGERS Foundation (School Projects)

The STEM promotion by the RÜTGERS Foundation supports schools and public educational institutions nationwide in the implementation of innovative projects in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology. With interest-free grants and expert advice, the foundation accompanies selected school projects from the initial idea to implementation. The goal is to sustainably strengthen the interest of teachers, students, and project groups in scientific and technical professions. Funding is provided for expenses related to equipment, specialized literature, and other project-related costs. Selection is based on the innovativeness of the project idea as well as the demonstrated commitment and passion of those involved.

Eligible for funding are all schools and public institutions located nationwide that plan independent STEM initiatives. Applications can be submitted at any time: an informal PDF application, together with a project description, a detailed overall cost breakdown, and a timeline, serves as the basis. Essential funding requirements include submission by a school, a clear focus on a STEM area, and transmission via email. After reviewing the application, applicants receive a binding funding agreement if positively evaluated. This transparent and straightforward funding structure enables all interested educational institutions to promptly realize their STEM initiatives and thereby inspire the next generation for scientific and technical careers.
