STEM@School (Vector Foundation)

The Vector Foundation supports innovative STEM projects at general education schools throughout Baden-Württemberg with a grant that can be requested at any time without fixed submission deadlines. Educational institutions can apply for funding for working groups (STEM clubs), subject-related excursions, competition participation, as well as material and expert costs. The prerequisite is processing through the municipal school account or a school support association account; for applications submitted by associations, a scan of the certificate of non-profit status is required. Through the uncomplicated, ongoing application process, the program promotes school initiatives that inspire enthusiasm for science and technology and strengthen practical learning environments.

Expenditures for specialized materials, fees for external experts, travel costs for STEM excursions, and participation fees for competitions that sustainably increase interest in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology are funded. An informal outline of the project proposal and, if necessary, proof of non-profit status suffice to submit an application. With this continuous funding opportunity, the foundation contributes to improving educational opportunities, motivates students to engage with technical issues, and supports teachers in their commitment to a future-oriented STEM teaching and learning culture.
