Description
The co-financing of 24-hour care for long-term ventilated clients in Tyrol supports individuals requiring ventilation in managing daily life at home and sustainably relieves their relatives. As a direct funding measure of the State of Tyrol (in cooperation with the BMSGPK), private individuals with primary residence in Tyrol can apply for a grant informally in writing at any time. The prerequisites, in addition to Austrian citizenship or equivalent status, are the permanent necessity of 24-hour care and the impossibility or unreasonableness of inpatient accommodation. Only the costs arising from an offer for 24-hour care are eligible for funding. The start of the unlimited application period is November 27, 2023.
For the application, personal and care-specific documents are required, including the full name of the person requiring ventilation, social security number, date of birth, residential address, proof of citizenship, marital status, and the care allowance decision. Additionally, a current care offer must be submitted; the confirmation of federal funding can be provided subsequently. The Care Department of the Office of the Tyrolean State Government processes all submitted applications and is available for professional inquiries. This funding initiative promotes a self-determined life within one’s own four walls and provides noticeable relief for caregiving relatives.
