Description
The funding program "Memberships in Associations and Institutions" supports non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, companies, foundations, as well as public institutions in Carinthia by covering the annual membership fees. The aim is to secure existing and new memberships in regional and supra-regional associations and institutions, thereby sustainably strengthening social cohesion, democratic participation, and cooperation within the state of Carinthia. Potential partners include, among others, the Austrian Institute of Construction Engineering, the Austrian Energy Agency, the Climate Alliance Austria, or the Fund for Austrians Abroad. The funding contributes to the expansion of professional networks and promotes inter-institutional exchange in key thematic areas such as regional development, labor & social affairs, as well as agriculture & rural development.
Up to 100% of the annual membership fees due are eligible for funding; applications can be submitted continuously without deadline restrictions. A prerequisite is the maintenance of the existing membership as well as a seat or active activity in Carinthia. Current activity reports must be submitted as proof; a discretionary decision forms the legal basis of the grant. Through continuous financial relief, partner organizations are supported, enabling them to tailor their offers and projects even more precisely to the needs of the Carinthian population. The unlimited funding opportunity provides planning security and helps to firmly establish regional engagement in the long term.
