Mobile Pediatric Nursing

The funding program Mobile Pediatric Nursing is aimed at non-profit organizations in Burgenland and ensures comprehensive care for sick children and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. Nursing care is provided by certified pediatric nursing professionals directly in the home environment, complemented by expert parental counseling to strengthen self-help competencies. The state of Burgenland covers a large portion of the incurred costs, thereby making a significant contribution to the financial relief of affected families. This continuously available subsidy model supports professionals in providing local care in the fields of health, social affairs, and labor & social services.

Only non-profit providers who enter into a care agreement with MOKI Burgenland are eligible for funding. Requirements for utilization include a primary or secondary residence in Burgenland as well as an age from birth up to 18 years. Parents contribute a small co-payment for the nursing hours, while all other expenses for mobile pediatric nursing and accompanying counseling services are covered as a grant. Applications can be submitted continuously and are not subject to fixed deadlines. The goal is to ensure quality-oriented and local care as well as to sustainably promote the psychosocial well-being of families in Burgenland.
