Description
The funding program Mobile Personal Care and Nursing Services – Home Help enables private clients with primary residence in Vienna to receive individual subsidies for costs related to household management, personal hygiene, shopping and escort services, as well as everyday assistance. It is aimed at people of all ages who require support in the home environment due to care or supervision needs. The funding is granted indefinitely and is flexibly adjusted according to the needs determined by the respective care and supervision plan. The program covers part of the expenses, promotes independent living in a familiar environment, relieves family members, and contributes to social participation.
The measure is of interest to all those who require transitional home help after hospital discharge or who seek professional care for people with mental health or dementia-related illnesses. A prerequisite for applying to the Fonds Soziales Wien is proof of care and supervision needs, submission of the registration certificate, as well as income and care allowance notices. Expenses for home help, household and personal care assistance, as well as shopping and escort services are funded. Through cooperation with around 170 partner organizations, the program ensures professionally qualified care and contributes to the quality of life of people in need of care and supervision in Vienna.
