Description

The model project Qualification Bonus by the Foundation for a Flexible Working World is aimed at personnel service companies in the Nuremberg metropolitan region and links the areas of vocational training & continuing education as well as digitalization. The goal is to specifically support low-skilled, migrant, and workers affected by automation or digital transformation, thereby strengthening skilled labor security and sustainable labor market integration. To this end, the foundation provides a permanent funding pool from which a bonus of €200 is paid out for each successfully completed educational measure. Bavaria serves as the pilot region, with a future expansion to other federal states being pursued. Through cooperation with AZAV-certified educational providers, a practice-oriented qualification network is established, focusing on both knowledge development and the professional prospects of participants.

Eligible for funding are personnel service companies that refer their own applicants or employees to recognized educational partners and initiate continuing education measures there. A prerequisite for funding is residency in the Nuremberg metropolitan region as well as verifiable placement with AZAV-certified institutions. The bonus can be easily applied for through a streamlined application process, and applications can be submitted continuously. The bonus payment is made directly from the funding pool of the Foundation for a Flexible Working World. In this way, companies are relieved and motivated to actively participate in the qualification of workers and thus proactively address demographic and technological changes in the working world.
