Description
The funding Modernization of the Salzburg State Warning Center supports public institutions in Salzburg in the contemporary renewal of the state alarm and warning center for the fire departments' microwave radio network. The goal is to optimize crisis communication and strengthen disaster protection infrastructure through modern radio technology and improved operational coordination. In the funding areas of disaster protection, infrastructure, labor & social affairs, as well as infrastructure & urban development, a one-time grant is provided, which includes planning, procurement, and installation. The measure is eligible for application in the period from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2029 and is based on the General Funding Guidelines of the State of Salzburg.
Interested authorities and institutions in the field of disaster protection and firefighting must demonstrate the implementation of the modernization of the state alarm and warning center and submit the following documents: proof of legal status (e.g., statutes, bylaws), budget for the current fiscal year including the latest financial statement, detailed financing plan with total costs, own contributions, as well as already committed or applied subsidies, and written declarations regarding inspection rights, proof of use, and data protection compliance according to § 8 Data Protection Act 2000. Applications can be submitted from the project start on 01.01.2025 until no later than 31.12.2029. This funding offers tailored support to sustainably secure the operational capability of the Salzburg fire department network.
