Support for Young Researchers ("Talents at the Aufseesianum")

The funding project "Talents in the Aufseesianum" is aimed at young sports, music, and art enthusiasts residing in the Bamberg area and its surroundings. The sponsor is an interest group or non-profit association that cooperates with regional or supra-regional sports and cultural clubs. The goal is to optimally reconcile school education, individual training, and artistic instruction through year-round boarding school accommodation. Participants benefit from educational support, academic tutoring, as well as local supervision tailored to their personal and professional development. German and international clubs can submit proof of talent in the respective funding area at any time along with application documents – including registration form, SEPA direct debit mandate, consent for image publication, and declaration regarding medication intake – to secure admission to the boarding school.

Sponsorship is used as the form of financing; eligible costs particularly include accommodation, supervision, and academic support at the boarding school. The Freiherr von Aufsees Seminar Foundation provides the necessary funds and offers flexible project admission at any time of the year. Clubs take on the professional talent development, while the boarding school creates a safe environment as a second home for up to 365 days a year. The funding sustainably strengthens young talent in Bavaria, opens up new perspectives for young talents, and promotes their academic as well as sporting, musical, or artistic careers. Such a concept enables young people to fully realize their potential and to succeed long-term in competition, on stage, or in the studio.
