Description
The national co-financing under the Structural Fund objective "European Territorial Cooperation (ETC)" is aimed at public institutions, companies, non-profit organizations, as well as educational institutions based in Vienna. As a grant, it supports the participation of Austrian project partners in approved ETC funding projects. Since the continuous submission possibility from 01.01.2013, transnational cooperations in the thematic areas of foreign trade, regional development, development cooperation, agriculture & rural development, as well as foreign trade & trade fairs have been strengthened. The program particularly supports projects of national or supra-regional significance and contributes to improving the framework conditions for Austrian foreign trade.
Eligible for funding are all institutional partners participating in an ETC project approved by the program steering committee and complying with the provisions of the BMWFJ co-financing agreement. Additionally, proof of foreign trade aspects as well as national and supra-regional relevance is required. Through co-financing, administrations, research and educational institutions, companies, and non-profit organizations can expand their cross-border projects and thus sustainably strengthen Austria as a business location. Interested project partners can submit their applications at any time and benefit from the program’s long-term duration.
