Description

The EU funding program targets networks of European film and audiovisual festivals headquartered and legally established in an EU Member State, comprising at least three festival partners from as many countries. With a total budget of up to EUR 6 million (2026), it supports coordinated and collaborative activities that make non-national European works – from feature and documentary films to short formats, video games, and immersive formats – accessible to a broader audience. The objective is to enhance the visibility and distribution of these contents, intensify cross-border cooperation, and advance the digital transition through the development or optimization of digital platforms and tools.

Supported measures are those that increase audience interest in European productions beyond national borders, promote the exchange of best practices among festival partners, and establish innovative programming lines to extend and renew the viewer base. Applications are submitted in a single-stage call, open from 4 December 2025 until 14 April 2026 (17:00 Brussels time). A prerequisite is a formally complete application using the standard form available on the portal, as well as compliance with all formal and financial criteria set out in the call documentation. Interested networks can find detailed information on budget frameworks, evaluation criteria, and the award process in the official call fiche, accessible on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal.
