Description
The initiative "New Start for Women" targets unemployed women aged 25 and over who have their main residence in Vienna and are entitled to unemployment benefits from AMS Vienna. Its goal is to enable women without completed vocational training or those re-entering the workforce to achieve a sustainable (re)entry into professional life. Between 01.08.2025 and 31.07.2026, free training and further education in future-oriented occupational fields will be offered, complemented by personal support and practical advice. Participants benefit from individual assistance in career choice, application training, as well as continuous support throughout the entire qualification measure.
The funding includes 100% coverage of all training costs, training-related subsidies, and costs for foundation management. Additionally, participants receive a monthly training allowance of €300. Requirements include a minimum age of 25 years, main residence in Vienna, and an existing entitlement to unemployment benefits from AMS Vienna. For the application, a completed admission form, registration certificate, proof of unemployment benefit receipt, and a CV are required. Admission is granted considering the foundation's concepts and takes place continuously until the end of the project. Through this holistic approach, women are specifically empowered to return to the labor market long-term as skilled professionals.
