Lower Austria Construction Award 2026

The Lower Austria Construction Award 2026 honors outstanding achievements in urban development and urban renewal in Lower Austria. As an award to cover costs, it supports the implementation of the regional competition, which focuses on innovative projects in the fields of infrastructure and urban planning. With a total funding volume of €10,000, the award contributes to ensuring the organizational execution of the jury session and the award-winning presentation of the best designs. The funding is provided as a one-time grant and offers event organizers and project managers a financial relief specifically tailored to their needs.

Eligible to apply are all institutions, associations, and initiatives that implement construction projects within the framework of the competition. A prerequisite for disbursement is the submission of proof of proper use of the funds according to the jury’s decision. The application process is straightforward: a simple funding request submitted between February 19 and December 31, 2026, to the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government, Department of General Construction Services, is sufficient to apply. The one-time payment is made after the jury session has concluded, allowing the funds to be directly invested in the realization and public relations of the awarded construction projects.
