Description
The Lower Austria Project Funding for Women, Families, and Generations program supports nonprofit organizations, interest groups, public institutions, private individuals, and companies in Lower Austria in implementing innovative measures benefiting women, families, and various generations in an uncomplicated manner. As an ongoing funding opportunity, project sponsors can submit an application at any time without having to pay application or processing fees. The requested amount is disbursed immediately upon successful review of the submitted financing plan. Projects in the areas of women's advancement, children and youth, social affairs, as well as work & social issues that sustainably enhance quality of life and equal opportunities in the region are supported.
The focus of the funding is on covering projects that create concrete added value for women, families, and generations in Lower Austria. A prerequisite for funding is a detailed presentation of the planned project measures in a financing plan, which also serves as a central evaluation criterion: besides alignment with the objectives, the comprehensibility and plausibility of the budget structure are decisive for approval. Upon completion of the project, a project accounting report must be submitted, comparing the actual use of funds. This model ensures transparent allocation of funds and promotes long-term impactful initiatives that contribute to social cohesion and the strengthening of intergenerational equity.
