Funding objective
Implementation of projects and measures within the framework of the Lower Austria Labor Market Strategy 2021–2027 for the targeted support of employees and job-seeking residents of Lower Austria in education and training and participation in the labor market, for the integration of disadvantaged groups through low-threshold employment opportunities, as well as for the promotion of the qualification of employed persons.

Description
With the Lower Austria Qualification and Employment Measures, the State of Lower Austria promotes a targeted implementation of the Labor Market Strategy 2021–2027. The focus is on projects that support employees and job-seeking residents of Lower Austria in their education and training as well as their participation in the labor market. Through low-threshold employment opportunities and tailored funding offers, disadvantaged groups are specifically integrated. At the same time, the expansion of qualification measures serves the professional development of already employed individuals. Funding is provided in the form of a grant and is continuously available to meet the evolving demands of the regional labor market.
Eligible for funding are private individuals, public institutions, interest groups, and companies that implement projects within the framework of contractual agreements with the AMS or co-financed by the European Social Fund. Application deadlines depend on the type and contractual basis and have been open indefinitely since 01.01.2023. Requirements include the implementation of measures in accordance with the Lower Austria Labor Market Strategy, labor market policy initiatives in regional developments, as well as cooperation projects with the AMS. Ongoing controlling and strict adherence to funding guidelines ensure transparent processing. Interested organizations and sponsors can thus set sustainable impulses for qualification and employment in Lower Austria.
