Description

The Object and Project Funding for Disability & Inclusion of the Fonds Soziales Wien (FSW) continuously provides grants to non-profit organizations, cooperatives, public institutions, and legal entities with partial legal capacity in Vienna for the operation of facilities as well as for time-limited or one-off projects in the field of disability and inclusion. Operating costs and project expenses that are used in accordance with the FSW’s General Funding Guidelines to strengthen the participation of people with disabilities are eligible for funding. Applications can be submitted at any time using the form prescribed by the FSW; the application must be legally signed by an authorized person. A key requirement is proof of non-profit status.

The funding objective is to enable both the regular operation of services and facilities as well as innovative initiatives for accessibility and inclusive participation. Eligible expenses include, among others, personnel costs, material resources, and specific project investments. In addition to the completed form, a concept describing the project or facility must be attached when submitting the application. This is supplemented by an organizational description, evidence of staffing, financial documents, and official certificates. The funding decision is made following a thorough professional review. Through continuous financing practice, the FSW supports partners in sustainably implementing inclusive offerings in Vienna and further developing the social framework conditions for people with disabilities.
