Funding objective
In object funding, grants are provided to cover the operating costs of facilities in accordance with the objectives and target groups of the General Funding Guidelines of the Fonds Soziales Wien. In project funding, time-limited or one-time initiatives benefiting people with disabilities are supported.

Description
This grant program of the Fonds Soziales Wien is aimed at the Department of Disability Work, Mobility & Counseling in Vienna and offers continuous funding opportunities for non-profit organizations. As an open funding line, applications can be submitted at any time; no deadline is set. Since January 1, 2014, the FSW has been providing grants to cover the ongoing operating costs of social institutions as well as to implement time-limited or one-off projects in the field of disability assistance. Focused on the thematic areas of "Social Affairs" and "Work & Social Affairs," the program sustainably supports services for people with disabilities.
Eligible to apply are companies, non-profit organizations, interest groups, other associations, and public institutions based in Vienna that are active in the field of disability assistance. The program is exclusively reserved for non-profit organizations working within the thematic areas of "Social Affairs" and "Work & Social Affairs." The funding type provided is grants. Ongoing submissions are possible; applications can be submitted at any time without a deadline. Prerequisites include the non-profit status of the service, a written and signed application, and the submission of documents regarding the concept, organization, personnel, financial planning, as well as official certificates. After review based on the funding guidelines, the FSW promptly decides on approval. Unused funds must be reimbursed. The funding supports the needs-based further development of services that improve mobility, counseling, and participation of people with disabilities, thereby contributing to an inclusive urban society.
