openTransfer Sponsorships (Bürgermut Foundation)

openTransfer Sponsorships is a nationwide funding format by the Stiftung Bürgermut, exclusively available to non-profit sponsorship and mentoring organizations. The aim is the sustainable strengthening of coordinators through continuous funding opportunities in the form of free webinars, digital and analog training sessions. The program promotes interorganizational exchange, shares best practices, and improves the framework conditions for coordination work in the field of social participation and democracy. Advisory and qualification services are also offered, accompanied by experts from the fields of education and training as well as labor & social affairs.

Interested organizations can submit applications at any time, provided they are already active as sponsorship or mentoring actors. openTransfer Sponsorships also offers an open-source tool (“codo”) to simplify contact and project management and organizes the CAMP Sponsorships once a year to deepen networks and set new impulses. Through these integrative formats, coordinators are professionalized and experience a noticeable relief in their daily work. Engagement in the areas of corporate financing and social counseling is thus specifically supported to build sustainable structures.
