openTransfer

openTransfer offers nationwide free formats for civil society actors and non-profit organizations to advance knowledge transfer and professionalization in the third sector. Non-profit organizations, interest groups, associations, and companies can continuously apply for funding in the form of grants and thus participate in a variety of digital and analog events. The program includes webinars, digital consultation hours and lunches, workshops, barcamps, as well as expeditions and publications. The goal is to create a trusting exchange on equal footing, where participants share best practices, further their methodological skills, and jointly develop innovative project ideas.

The funding supports both the expansion of professional competencies and the sustainable scaling of social innovations. By supporting bold initiatives in professionalizing projects and multiplying their impact, openTransfer strengthens social cohesion and promotes democracy, digitalization, and corporate financing in the non-profit sector. In particular, associations, foundations, social enterprises, and volunteers find tailored offerings in the various program modules to optimize their structures and expand networks. The Bürgermut Foundation, as the sponsor, uses agile collaborations with foundations, ministries, and companies to set pioneering impulses and permanently promote the exchange of experiences within the civil society community.
